We Own It: National Day of Action
SATURDAY 11 JUNE
From the 1st of July 2022 our NHS across England will be reorganised. England will be divided into 42 new NHS bodies called Integrated Care Systems. We Own It have called a day of action, supported by Unite Community and KONP to protest against this change which will dis-integrate services and make the NHS less safe for patients and staff. TUC Rally

The cost of living crisis affects everyone and the NPC will be joining the TUC rally. Please share this information far and wide and if you are able to come along and participate at the march or rally, then please do.

Accessibility for disabled marchers
We want everyone coming to have a safe and enjoyable experience
There will be a quiet area allocated for disabled marchers at the form up and a quiet venue rest stop during the route.
There will be a short march, which will form up at Whitehall Place at 11am.
The rally in Parliament Square
Attendees can go straight to the rally location to start at 1pm if they prefer.
Level access to Parliament Square will be indicated on the plan. There will be a designated viewing area for disabled attendees.
There will be a small number of charging points for power chairs, subject to safe weather.
There will be a British Sign Language interpreter on the stage and the rally will be streamed live on Facebook, with live captions
There will be water supplies for guide dogs.

Any requests for reasonable adjustments for the march and rally should be made to the TUC by 8 June TUCevents@tuc.org.uk
Unions may be able to support members with reasonable adjustments, and are responsible for members’ travel.
