The National Pensioners Convention (NPC) is calling on government to introduce a new law, encompassing the Convention’s Dignity Code, as a way of protecting the rights of older people in care. The call comes ahead of Dignity Action Day on 30 January 2015, when NPC groups around the country will be leafleting the public and getting local MPs, councils and NHS Trusts to sign up the the Code. A copy of the leaflet being circulated is available to view here. More details of events on the day will be published shortly.
